Answer:

– Tamaraw

– Bubalus mindorensis

– The tamaraw is a small, stocky buffalo. Adults are grayish-black in color, with a darker line running along the spine and white markings on the insides of the forelegs. Lighter markings are also found above the eyes, where they form ” eyebrows”.

– typical tamaraw possessed the characteristics of being smart, hardworking, respectful,,determined, and friendly.

– I choose to research this animal because I want to protect them for hunters and to promote their sustainable life and to protect their habitat so that they will continue to multiply.

– prior acts of congress had protected some wildlife, but the endangered species Act of 1973 was the first federal legislation to protect endangered animals.

– Tamaraw was habitat loss due to farming by resettled and local people, with high human population growth rates in and around its remaining habitat. In some areas, fires set for agriculture are a threat to the species habitat.
